Two lucky individuals will have a chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Want to know how? See details below!

Putting contest qualifier

Section 9 NYSATE will have a putting contest prior to and during the tournament, to determine the two lucky individuals that will have their chance at a MILLION DOLLARS. Two names will then be selected by a blind draw at the completion of the tournament. You must make the putt to be put in the MILLION DOLLAR SHOT, blind draw. Miss the putt and your name will get entered into a separate blind draw for a new Scotty Cameron putter. “Sounds like a win, win for every participant”.

  • Cost to participate will be $3 per putt, $5 for two putts or $10 for five putts.
  • Your name will go in the drawing for the Scotty Cameron putter based on how many chances you buy. If you buy five chances, your name goes in five times.
  • Your name can only go in the chance at a MILLION DOLLAR SHOT one time. If you buy five chances and make it on the first putt, your name goes in the chance at a MILIION DOLLAR SHOT and remaining chances cannot be given to another participant.
  • Each participant must make their own putt.
  • Participants can take as many putts as they wish at the above mentioned cost.

Upon completion of play, two individuals will be selected through a blind draw from those who qualified to take one shot at a MILLION DOLLARS. Tournament officials will take these two lucky individuals to the eighteenth fairway, 165 yards from the hole, where they will have their chance to become instant millionaires. All tournament participants will be encouraged to set the stage for this dramatic event behind the eighteenth green. According to local pro Dan Spooner, “the eighteenth green has a natural funnel on the green and yes, we can set the pin there” Can you imagine?

Proceeds from the putting contest will cover the cost of the Scotty Cameron putter with any additional money donated to Pathfinder Village, a local community organization that assist children with Downs Syndrome.
